This Week's Show & Tell

Hi Parents,

 

Our students did such a great job with the "Xx" sound.  We will be learning about the long vowel sounds in the next several weeks before school gets out. We will begin with the letter "Īī" as in ice cream this week.  We will share objects with the long "Īī" sound this week in Show & Tell. Examples of objects with the long "Īī" sound and spelled with an "i" (not a y): rhinoceros / rhino, dinosaur, ice cream, tiger, lion, et cetera.

I will update the Memory Verse tomorrow and will send the Verse Card home with your child for practicing. J
